Handle massive data volumes

After months of rigorous testing, we’ve verified that TLEX can easily handle massive data volumes and significantly enhanced its software. This achievement underscores our expertise in data exchange. We reliably connect numerous roadside objects to users. Already we are achieving an impressive rate of over 500 million messages daily, with an astonishing one millisecond per message.

Expanding horizons with ‘TLEX to the max’

Embracing new challenges, we expanded our scope to include a broader range of objects and countries, leading to the ambitious ‘TLEX to the max’ test. This involved simulating an environment capable of supporting the entire Benelux region with C-ITS services. We were testing our system’s capability to handle roughly 95 billion messages daily.

Collaborative effort in testing

Our venture into ‘TLEX to the max’ also highlighted the importance of collaborative investment, where partners contributed to creating a realistic testing environment. This collaboration aimed to explore the platform’s maximum capacity under extensive load, leading to valuable insights and improvements.

Overcoming challenges

The testing phase was an opportunity to identify and address bottlenecks, further enhancing TLEX’s performance. Our efforts resulted in a platform capable of near-zero latency, even under the most demanding conditions. It manages nearly 11,000 fictitious intersections with 10 million road users and achieves an average latency of only five milliseconds.

Ready for the future

These tests have prepared TLEX for large-scale C-ITS deployments, ready to confidently meet the future demands of intelligent mobility, ensuring we’re equipped to efficiently support the scale-up of C-ITS services.
