At the heart of the ITS European Congress in Brainport, Monotch played a pivotal role in powering key activities, showcasing our technology’s versatility and impact. As the technological driving force, Monotch’s solutions enhanced the congress experience, from smart mobility to emergency response efficiency.
Innovative mobility solutions on display
Monotch’s contribution spanned the entire event, providing crucial parking data for the Mobifestival and integrating traffic lights with the Dynniq Greenflow app for seamless shuttle and VIP car movements. Our Traffic Live Exchange (TLEX) platform enables real-time data exchange. We supported the Siemens demonstration and the Talking Traffic tour. Additionally, we facilitated priority emergency services. This was a true collaboration with key partners for a safer, more responsive traffic management system.
Showcasing C-ITS ecosystem capabilities
A highlight of our participation was demonstrating a fully operational Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) ecosystem. This demo illustrated the power of real-time data sharing across various traffic technology suppliers and road authorities. All made possible through Monotch’s TLEX platform. The Dutch are the first country that have a nationwide C-ITS implementation. This implementation improves road user information, optimises traffic flow, and prioritises specific traffic scenarios. We dare to say that it marks a significant step towards smarter, safer roads.
Leadership in smart mobility
Beyond technological demonstrations, Monotch’s Director of Smart Mobility, Paul Potters, took an active role, sharing insights on Digital Transport Infrastructure and New Mobility Services. Our involvement at the congress fulfilled ITS promises and positioned Monotch as a leader in intelligent mobility solutions.
