The Flemish government takes a revolutionary approach, with a bold vision for better mobility, road safety, and achieving climate goals.

The Mobilidata program acts as the linchpin in achieving these objectives, using innovative technologies to improve road safety, traffic flow, sustainability and quality of life for all road users. The Flemish government set up Mobilidata in collaboration with the imec research centre.

In just one year (March 2023 to February 2024), no fewer than 29 intelligent traffic solutions will be implemented, meaning Flanders is taking a significant step towards a smarter future.
